SCHHS win inaugural Health Service Blood Challenge

Health Service Blood ChallengeCongratulations to Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS), who were officially announced as the winners of the Inaugural Australian Health Services Blood Donation Challenge. Over 350 000 health service employees throughout Australia recently competed in the 3 month challenge but it was SCHHS employees who accrued the highest amount of blood donations in the nation, potentially saving just under 500 lives in 12 weeks. Team Adem is incredibly proud to have so many health care workers supporting our blood donation community and would like to sincerely thank you all on behalf of those who require lifesaving blood products. Pictured with Lu and Brent are SCHHS employee Jan English (left) SCHHS Chief Executive Kevin Hegarty and Australian Red Cross Blood Service Chief Medical Officer DR Joanne Pink who presented the Award.
