Inaugural Chalk the Walk

Send a message of love, hope & inspiration through the power of chalk

On Sunday July 31st Team Adem, 92.7 Mixfm and Sunshine Coast Grammar School students will be hosting a Chalk Walk at Buderim Lions Park. This is a family event and we encourage children to be involved. The concept behind the chalk walk is to leave a message of love, hope & inspiration or just draw a picture for someone special on the paths around the “Bright Stars” memorial at Buderim’s Lions Park

As part of the morning activities, there will be an official unveiling of the new Bright Stars” memorial, which has been erected to honour babies, children & young people of the Sunshine Coast region who have passed away.

Chalk will be available for a gold coin donation. There will be a sausage sizzle and soft drinks available for purchase.

The chalk drawings will be left for a few days for the public to view.
